Mohannad Gomaa, Founder and Managing Director

About

Mohannad Gomaa

Founder & Managing Director

Mohannad Gomaa is a supply chain and M&A integration leader who has spent more than 20 years helping companies turn strategy into operations that actually run. He leads MG Operations & Strategy Partners from Oakton in Northern Virginia, where he lives with his wife and sons, and he is the person clients call when a deal has to deliver or a supply chain has to grow up quickly.

He trained as an engineer, earning a B.Sc. in mechanical and industrial engineering at the American University in Cairo, then an M.S. from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Maryland, and later completed executive education in supply chain management at MIT Sloan. That engineering habit of building the system before fixing the symptom still shapes how he works.

He built his consulting career leading supply chain work at Accenture Strategy, Ernst & Young and Booz Allen Hamilton, and later as an Associate Partner at Infosys Consulting. Across those years he served consumer goods, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, retail and industrial companies, from global brewers and spirits makers to drug manufacturers and private equity portfolio companies. The part of the work he cares about most has always been the people: planners who became S&OP leaders, procurement teams that learned to negotiate with data, and supply chain functions that went from firefighting to running on one plan.

He then returned to the firm he first founded in 2015, MG Operations & Strategy Partners, to give sponsors and operating teams senior, hands-on leadership without the overhead of a large firm. Today he leads every engagement personally, backed by a network of senior consultants from MBB and top-tier consulting firms, and he teaches the next generation as a part-time Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, where he designs and teaches graduate courses in supply chain strategy and manufacturing.
