From framework to roadmap: SCOR DS for a global MedTech supply chain team
A global MedTech leader’s supply chain center of excellence wanted one framework, one set of metrics, and a clear view of where to improve first.
The challenge
The Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence ran a modern, complex landscape (SAP S/4HANA with manufacturing, warehouse and production scheduling, o9 planning and Agile PLM) but lacked a common language for process and performance, and a shared view of where maturity gaps were costing the business.
Mohannad Gomaa designed and delivered the program as lead instructor, then led the maturity assessment and the roadmap with the COE leadership.
What we did
- Delivered an executive SCOR DS program built on the client’s own Level 4 process maps and system landscape, not textbook examples.
- Mapped processes and metrics to SCOR so every team used the same definitions.
- Ran an ASCM maturity assessment across 27 focus areas and seven domains.
- Traced the root cause of the gaps to governance and business rules rather than systems.
- Converted 100+ recommendations into four foundation programs, six leadership decisions and a 90-day plan.
Impact and results for the client
- A leadership team aligned on one framework and one set of metrics
- Four foundation programs and six decisions ready for leadership
- A 90-day plan and a follow-on transformation charter
Well-structured and well-delivered training, with thoughtful insights along the way.
