Sales & Business Development Partner
Join us as we grow our practice and grow our supply chain practice across industry such as Retail Products, Consumer Product Goods, Chemical, and Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, and Utilities. Our Sales Directors play a key role working as part of our growth to grow pipeline and sales by originating, identifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities across a range of Supply chain offerings, they progress by deepening sales skills, developing new skills, and evolve into more complex sales roles on larger opportunities. Sales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.
Who are we looking for:
- A growth focused sales professional, focused on supply chain & manufacturing, who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You have run all phases of a sales cycle, including origination, qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise.
- Have a proven track record of business development success, operational excellence, and keen strategic thinking as well as a strong understanding of the consultative sales approach.
- An experienced transformational consultant who can commercialize the business, drive profitability and position for continued growth and expansion, with the inherent ability to drive relationships within the C-Suite and other senior executive levels within major organizations.
Your Mission:
- Our Sales Director will be part of our entrepreneurial journey to grow our practice across key accounts and build strong client relationship within our US market.
- Originates sales pursuits, create solutions to complex supply chain & business problems / opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs and closes sales.
- Interacts with senior management levels at clients and within MG Partners, determines pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading transformation strategies
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
- 10+ years progressive sales, consulting and/or industry experience to this role, ideally from top-tier professional services firm; where they have developed relevant experience through consulting engagements, focused on supply chain & Manufacturing Transformations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to succeed in a multi-cultural, multi-functional environment, where market credibility is critical for success.
- Outstanding interpersonal and demonstrated leadership skills, a mature executive who also possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven track record of exceeding personal revenue goals
- Ability to leverage the marketplace by understanding of products, economics, industry trends and channels
- Ability to drive thought leadership via influence in a matrix environment
- Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and keep information confidential is critical to this position
- This is a partner commission based position. a Partner structure will be based on equity and sales commission.
